How to check an approach is ours
Every message we send is signed with the name of the talent partner running that search, and that name should appear in the list below. If the name you were given is not on this page, treat the message as suspicious and email us at hello@placementflow.com so we can tell you whether it came from us.
Talent Partner is the role our outreach is signed with. Each name below is the working identity of a talent partner running searches on our platform. PlacementFlow is the sender of record and is accountable for every message sent under these names.

Sofia — our assistant, not a person
If you have been messaging Sofia — on our website, by text, or on WhatsApp — you are talking to PlacementFlow's assistant, which is software. Sofia is an automated assistant, not a human recruiter, and she is not on the talent partner list above because she is not a person.
- A human recruiter reads every answer you give her. Sofia asks the questions and writes up what you said. A recruiter at the recruitment agency running the search reads it and decides whether to take the conversation further. She does not decide anything about you and she cannot reject you.
- She never asks for money, passwords, one-time codes, or identity documents. If a message signed Sofia asks you for any of those, it is not from us — forward it to hello@placementflow.com.
- You can ask for a human. Say so in the conversation, or email hello@placementflow.com, and a person will pick it up.
What a talent partner does
We run searches for specialist recruitment agencies
PlacementFlow is a recruitment platform. Our talent partners make the first approach on searches we run on behalf of specialist recruitment agencies. The agency and the employer stay confidential at first contact, which is normal in senior search and is not a way of hiding who we are.
First contact is an email, and it asks you to reply
Our first email has no links, no attachments, no phone number and no reference code. It asks you to reply if the search sounds relevant. That is the only thing it ever asks you to do.
After you reply, you choose how to continue
If you reply, we send you the details and a link on placementflow.com where you can answer a few questions in your own time. If a chat is easier, we can continue by text or WhatsApp instead. If you'd rather talk, some searches offer a call, always at a time you choose.
A human recruiter makes the decisions
Our platform uses AI to help draft messages and to summarise the answers you give us. A recruiter at the agency reads your answers and decides whether to take a conversation further. The AI does not reject candidates on its own.
Things we will never do
- We will never ask you for payment, credentials, or personal financial information. No fees, no bank or card details, no passwords or one-time codes, no copies of identity documents at first contact.
- We never charge candidates. Our clients are recruitment agencies and they pay for the platform. There is no candidate-side fee of any kind, for anything.
- We never cold call you. If a call ever happens, it is because you asked for one or agreed a time first. The first approach is always in writing, so you have a record of what was said and time to check it.
- We never ask you to install software or move to a messaging app before you have replied. Any link we send points at placementflow.com.
- We never ask you to do anything urgently. If a message pressures you, it is not from us.
Why the first email does not name the agency
We run confidential searches. At first contact we describe the search and the kind of agency behind it, and we do not name the agency or the employer. This protects the agency's client relationships, and it means nothing about you is disclosed to anyone before you have decided to have the conversation.
You are told who you would be dealing with before you are asked to share anything about yourself, and the recruitment agency becomes responsible for your information from the point they take the conversation on. How that works, and what we do with your data in the meantime, is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Reaching us, and opting out
Stop hearing from us: reply to any message from us and say so, or email privacy@placementflow.com. We add you to our suppression list and no talent partner contacts you again. You never have to give a reason.
See or delete what we hold about you: email privacy@placementflow.com with “Data request” in the subject line.

How did you get my email address?
From professional and public sources, the same way search firms have always worked, plus contact-data providers we buy from. If you ask us where a specific address came from, we will tell you.
I did not apply for anything. Why am I being contacted?
Because a search we are running matched your background. You do not have to have applied for anything, and you are free to ignore the message or ask us to stop.
The name in my email is not on this page. Is it a scam?
It may simply be that the list is not yet complete, so do not assume either way. Do not send money, credentials or documents. Email hello@placementflow.com and we will confirm in writing whether the message came from us.
Is the person emailing me a real recruiter?
The talent partner is the outreach identity for the search, and PlacementFlow is accountable for what is sent under it. From the moment the search moves forward, you are dealing with a named recruiter at the recruitment agency running it.
Will an AI decide whether I get the job?
No. Our platform drafts messages and summarises the answers you give us, and a recruiter at the agency reads them and makes the call. If you would like a human to review anything that was AI-assisted, email privacy@placementflow.com.
