PlacementFlow gives you an AI recruiter desk: the AI does the operational work — sourcing, screening, outreach, scheduling, follow-ups — while you approve the decisions that matter. This guide walks you from signup to your first live campaign.
An AI Desk is the working unit in PlacementFlow. You give it a brief and a campaign; it sources candidates, sends cold outreach, screens repliers with conversational AI, and surfaces qualified people for you to review. Every high-stakes step — approving a lead, submitting to a client, handling an offer — comes back to a human.
You're on a 30-day free trial with everything included. The clock doesn't start at signup — it starts when you take your first real action, like launching a campaign, submitting a candidate, or scheduling an interview. See How the 30-day trial works.
Your new account includes a fully pre-populated demo desk — sourced candidates, AI interview analyses, placements, the complete picture of what a busy desk looks like. Explore freely: nothing you do in the demo counts against your trial.
One Microsoft 365 / Outlook connection covers your email, calendar, and Teams meetings. It's what PlacementFlow uses for warm email (submissions, client follow-ups) and interview scheduling — cold outreach never touches your own domain.
Go to Settings → Email Accounts and connect Outlook / Microsoft 365. Google Workspace support is coming — it's pending Google's security audit process. Full walkthrough: Connect your mailbox and calendar.
Go to Slots and create a New Desk: name it, choose a persona name for outreach sign-offs, and assign your connected mailbox. See Create your first AI desk.
A brief describes the role you're filling — title, location, salary, must-haves. It powers candidate matching, screening questions, and submissions. See Creating an effective sourcing brief.
From Sourcing → Campaigns, the wizard collects your targeting filters and email copy, then saves the campaign as a draft — nothing external happens yet. Clicking Save & dry-run takes you into the Playground, where you play the candidate through the exact experience your campaign creates: the cold email, the screening chat, your review gate, and a real AI score. Zero emails are sent.
When the dry-run feels right, the Playground ends in a launch-decision card with a go-live checklist. Hit Launch campaign and managed cold outreach begins. Warm replies land in Sourcing → Qualified for your review.
